A fun, engaging experience for little artists! In this kid-friendly workshop, young guests will explore clay through playful hand-building activities. It’s the perfect way to celebrate a birthday or any special milestone. The class is designed to be safe, beginner-friendly, and full of creative freedom. All materials provided—plus clean-up is on us!
Duration: 1,5 hour class
Location: Mission District, San Francisco.
Capacity: Up to 10 people (ages 5+)
Workshop Experience: Hand-building is a special kind of meditation. It allows one to take a break from daily stress, slow down and experience unforgettable tactile sensations while working with clay.
This class will teach you the fundamentals of pottery handbuilding. You will learn the basic methods of building ceramic pieces using pinch pots and slab building techniques. All of the tools and materials are provided. Once you are done building your pieces and they dry completely, I will bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire them for you. Your finished ceramics will be shipped to you within 3-4 weeks.
